Chrysocolla-Natural , 8mm Round Beads

This is really quite nice chrysocolla, in the pale green with red stippling variety, sometimes called blood chrysocolla. This is often described as having quartz component, which accounts for the pale color. The result is a lovely sea foam green overall, with the red stippling for added interest and complexity, it looks just shockingly gorgeous when paired with contrasting darker metals, I.e. brass and copper. The price is much better than usual for this type of chrysocolla, but there are (unsurprisingly) a light sprinkling of browned out beads, which will be unusable. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

Good green chrysocolla is difficult to find, and this was quite reasonable. I think they said it was chrysocolla with quartz in the text, which would be logical. The color is a quite yummy soft “sea foam” sort of green, with the distinctive reddish-brown specks. It looks very beautiful indeed against brass or copper in particular. Some of the beads are too browned out, but much of the strand will be useful. Delivery was great, very prompt.
